The stage of history

This is the a funerary monument in the Cimitero Monumentale of Torino. This has been shot with my iPhone 4s .

The app used to shot the image was HDR Pro, cropping and adjustments were done using Snapseed, further editing was done using Image BlenderDynamic Light, Pic Grunger and Modern grunge.

Great image. Has using the 4s made much difference to what you can achieve? I’m thinking of going from 4 up to 4s but it needs to be worth the investment.

Thank you! I moved from 3GS to 4S and this made a huge difference.
The camera quality of 4s is better than a 4 and you can find several benchmark on the net that will show the visible difference.
A friend of mine, another iPhoneographer, decided to upgrade from 4 to 4s because of the increased detail and better handling of low-luminosity shots, but I think it’s a difficult choice, given the price of this toy.
I would advise it only if photography for you is the main reason to buy an iPhone, otherwise not, considering that in less an year an even better iPhone is likely to be out.

True regarding likely iPhone5 this year. I mainly got my iPhone for the camera plus other apps. It’s an irritating dog of a phone if I ever use it. Maybe Apple should work on that or call it something else. How about iEye?
More great picture from you. Looking forward to future ones. A4

Oggi soltanto e non so perché solo adesso mi è venuto in mente, pur avendo visitato Torino di persona , che questa città mi è cara , perché tanti anni fa proprio a Torino una persona a me cara è stata operata , anche se era ormai troppo tardi..
