I love your artistic style and it was great to read more about you.
Congratulations on the interview and I very much enjoyed seeing some more of your images.
You make some good points in this excellent interview. I am struck by the idea of Mobile Photography vs. iPhoneography as a term for this “art”. It is only a label, but it does speak to the art form.
Allan
Thank you Allan. I do think that Mobile Photography has its own space as part of the wider photographic art, I am not sure though if it will keep it as it is in the future.
I think that the volume of apps available to the mobile photographer expands his “digital darkroom” and allows for choices that are constantly evolving. The Smartphone will never replace the DSLRs or Medium Format cameras just as those devices will not replace the edit-on-the-fly capabilities of the iPhone/Android platforms.
This is an exciting time to be involved in photography. So much is happening that now is not the time to stop and over-think. That time will be ten years from now when we slow down and the next generation takes up the challenge and surpasses our vision.
I like what you are doing with your Mobile Photography. You inspire me daily.
Congratulations. It is so nice to know much more about you. Your photographs amazing I love your style. Thank you, Greetings and Love, to you and to Italy 🙂 nia
