Winter soil
This is a country skyline near Milano (Italy). This has been shot with my iPhone 4s.
The app used to shot the image was Pro HDR, cropping and adjustments were done using Snapseed, further editing was done using Dynamic Light, Decim8, Image Blender, Modern Grunge and PhotoToaster.

I have a bit of a ‘thing’ about soil. Most people hate it, think it’s dirty, annoying, sticks to your boots etc but I love it. I’m always happy when I have been outside in the garden and I have soil all over my hands. In short it makes me feel connected with the earth. Without soil we couldn’t grow anything – without food we would not be able to exist. Beautiful photograph, thank you.
Thank you Lottie! I have the same feeling you have about soil. It is vital, full of life, and at the end it is what we are made of.
