The clergy crypt
This is the subterranean crypt of the Cimitero Generale of Torino where people from the clergy are buried. This has been shot with my iPhone 4s and an Olloclip wide.
The app used to shot the image was HDR Pro, cropping and adjustments were done using Snapseed, further editing was done using Dynamic Light, Pic Grunger and Phototoaster.
This photo has been selected as a semi-finalist for the 2011 IPA Mobile Art Grant .

This photo reminds me of a former military base in my part of the US called Fort Columbia. It was built about 110 years ago, and used in one way or another until the 1960s. It is now a State Park. The bunkers are dark creepy places with long hallways and rusted fixtures. Very very scary in the wrong light. You picture is haunting and familiar!
I think old places kind of “absorb” history and then relinquish it in a subtle way. So it’s not surprising that different places return the same feelings. Thanks for sharing your memories.

I’m considering buying the oloclip, how do you like it so far? 🙂
I love olloclip, I think it’s great value for money!
I use mostly the wide lens and from time to time the fisheye is fun; I’m not much into macro photography but you have also that option with olloclip.
It’s compact and easy to mount with the only downside that you have to remove the case or the bumper if you have one.
I definitely recommend it.
